I'm aspiring to be an artist. I drew a lot when I was younger, but due to criticism and being bullied about my lack of artistic abilities compared to others in my class, I stopped. However, going to cons has opened my eyes and has shown me that art comes in many forms and no one's art is better than anyone else's and that opinion will always be subjective. Plus, when I ask everyone for their opinions and how they started and what I can do to get started, they're all very supportive, and I love that! I hope to one day be able to look back at this post and see how far I've come.
